CHAITRA NATARAJ

Chaitra Nataraj is a womenswear/bridal designer who plays with the idea of textures to create whimsical bohemian inspired clothing. Inspired from her native Indian roots, she is influenced by embellishments and adorning methods that give classic silhouettes a touch of sophistication, fantasy and elegance. Her designs look to challenge the meaning of classic beauty by playing upon femininity with a touch of free spirit.

With roots set in Philadelphia, PA , she earned her BBA in Management Information systems from Temple University and started her career working in technology/ecommerce for various fashion retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Ralph Lauren, Ascena Retail and Chloe and Isabel. 

Having an inherent love of art and fashion from an early age, she decided to change career paths and recently graduated from Parsons School of Design in NYC with a degree in fashion design. She looks forward to making a positive impact in the realms of fashion and design and collaborate with other creative minds.
